Guilty!!!

While I was riding a public utility vehicle  on my way home yesterday afternoon, I saw a man lying down on the street. In a second he had seizures. I panicked! I was so helpless and guilty. I kept on telling the driver to take the man to the hospital but some of my co-passengers were hesitant to take him in. They didn’t want to be bothered at all. Some said that it will be a hassle if they will be interrogated by investigating policemen, while others were as helpless as I am. The  driver did not stop the car. I kept very silent for a while as I was feeling guilty for not helping the man. Then I prayed hoping that he was just having an attack of epelepsy. What I saw reminds me of my mother who died a year ago. She had  myocardial infarction (MI).
